An On-Grid system is connected to the government power line and uses Net-Metering to save on bills. An Off-Grid system is completely independent; it uses a battery bank to store power, ensuring you have electricity even during total grid failures or in remote areas without any power lines.

Yes! A properly sized off-grid system (typically 5kW or higher) can easily run 1.5-ton or 2-ton Inverter ACs. We recommend using Lithium-ion batteries for AC loads because they handle the high "startup surge" of compressors much more efficiently than traditional batteries.

This depends on your backup needs. For basic backup (Lights/Fans/TV): A 2kW–3kW system with 2–4 tubular batteries. For full independence (AC/Fridge/Motors): A 5kW system with either 8 tubular batteries or a single high-capacity 5kWh Lithium-ion wall mount.

Tubular: Lower upfront cost, but requires water topping and lasts 3–5 years. Lithium: Higher upfront cost, but zero maintenance, faster charging, and a much longer life (10–12 years). Most of our new installations in Mohali and Chandigarh are now moving toward Lithium for peace of mind.
